My kids and I had a great stay! The house was just as described and exactly what we needed. It’s super close to Boone and Blowing Rock, so there was plenty to do and see. We thoroughly enjoyed the den with the fireplace and the hot tub! Jen was a great communicator and ensured we had everything we needed. We found the guidebook helpful as well. Overall, it was a perfect retreat!

We loved our stay here! It started snowing the day of check in and it was so beautiful! Easy to get in, nice and clean. The bed was one of the most comfy we’ve had. The fire place was a huge reason i picked to stay here and it did not disappoint. It was the perfect get away for me and m husband, (kid free to) the hot tub was great! Kitchen well stocked with all the things you could need. We even got to sit and watch deer in the front yard. We would 100% stay here again. Close enough to Boone yet private and peaceful

We planned a trip to Boone with family, but because we brought our dogs wanted something with some land for them to explore, while the rest of our group stayed closer to downtown. To say that this place had everything we needed, was secluded, cozy and was the perfect cabin getaway, is an understatement. We would love to book again when we go back to Boone.

The hot tub was great, had an issue with the grill not working but Jen was quick to respond and work out a fix. Had an issue with our last night with the new guys coming in who stayed upstairs who had a dog that barked until a bit past midnight, but otherwise it was a nice stay.

This was a stunning stay! We would absolutely rent again and we had a wonderful time. Brought our two pups with us and had a great relaxing weekend. Felt very private even though there were other rentals on the property. Overall a 10/10 and would highly recommend!

Location is perfect and convenient for us traveling from Wilmington. We absolutely loved the hot tub and fireplace. Very cute and cozy cabin. Great for a small family and pet. It is a pet friendly airbnb so expect a bit of pet hair and odor. It didn’t bother us at all as we are used to living with dogs. Keep that in mind if you have sensitivity to pet dander or allergies. The cabin was super cute inside and we liked that it was one story. It’s a short uphill dirt road to the cabin so if you’re traveling during snow you’ll probably want 4x4. No real major negatives. The cabin is older so there’s some wear and tear, broken tiles, loose door hinges, creaky floors, loose cabinet doors, etc. to be expected for a home this age. There’s no laundry dryer so pack extra gear if you’re coming for a ski trip. Had all the utensils we needed for a few days. Pet fee was requested after we booked which we felt should have been included in total booking price but it was fair. Overall very happy!

We had a great time - it’s conveniently located near town and it’s easy to get to Blowing Rock via the back roads. The space is cozy and easy to settle in with peaceful surroundings.

Our girls' trip at this lovely mountain hideaway went really well, and Jen is a great host! The place was clean, had extra towels & blankets, and is accurate to the listing photos and description. It snowed while we were there, but the gravel driveway gave us no trouble and luckily didn't ice over at all. My only comment is that the indoor gas fireplace produced little to no heat, but it was great for ambiance and we were plenty warm throughout our stay since the heating/air was effective. Close to Boone and Blowing Rock, and not hard to find, though it felt relatively private. Would stay here again!
